Important:
1. Badge-seekers should stick to campus dining halls and NOT campus cafes. The five dining halls worked for me, but 5 legit on-campus cafes that I had prior to the dining halls did not unlock.

2. The College/University Cafeteria category must be on the venue (graduation cap icon). You can add correct cat's to uncategorized venues (question mark icon) via foursquare's mobile site.

There are 5 on Syracuse's "suggested locations" page. They unlocked the badge for me while I was hunting the Syracuse badge

Give a couple more minutes to retest and make sure I have the right ones and I'll post venue numbers

Rut-roh. I just tried my check ins over again. Call the coroner @jr1, I think we have a dead badge

I've earned this badge twice. I got it at syracuse, got frustrated delted one too many check ins and then re-earned it at chico state. All of those together did not give my tester a badge

I'm willing to bet a lot (if not all) the colledge ones are dead now since the school year is technically over. The only other solution I have is that there's a time sensitivity. My checkins when I earned it were between 10:55am and 12:55pm local time. You'd have to see if its been unlocked outside that time frame or try within those hours to know for sure

Yes sorry I have had a crazy busy morning. I just checked and the last unlock i can find for this badge is for under an hr ago so it should still active. I will play around with it and see if i can get it to unlock. let you know what i can fig out.

Ok i have tried this 3 diffrent times at 3 diffrent colleges. I used venues that others have used to get the badge and it did not unlock at any of them. But it still shows more recent inlocks on twitter. So I am kindov lost on this one now. But the badge definately should still be active.

I am going to try a few more things it will just take some time. I iwll post when i can fig out how to get this to unlock. They must have slightly changed a requirment or something.

I dont understand the issue with this badge right now. I have tested every group of venues listed by everyone as well as the venues i got the badge with and can not get it to unlock. There are still active unlocks for the badge on twitter everyday so i know the badge is still active. Going to keep trying to figure this one out. Will post a venue list if i can ever get the badge to unlock.

I'm at 18 myself. Do you think 4sq mobile is blocking some badges?

I was in the area, pre-jumping days in May

I also tried the syracuse venues plus 2 local colleges that have both unlocked the badge for me...then I stacked on a million random cafeterias at random colleges in random towns. Also made 5 college cafeterias and did 5 legit checkins. no luck getting the badge for my tester

@rocky1960 Douchebag has always been a perserverance badge. I'm working on isolating exactly what that one takes. This one has me stumped. When I unlocked it, it was 5 checkins...just that easy. Now... Between me you and @JR1 you'd think we'd have figured it out by now. I'd swear this badge was dead if I didn't know better

@JR1 will they not tell you how they got it?
