Maybe it's my lousy luck but I'm getting a new level of this badge with every tenth check-in, not fifth. Anybody else experiencing this?

It depends on the venues that you checkin to. Not all the venues on the partners page count towards unlocking their badge.

After the badge has been out for a little while someone usually posts a list of venues that will unlock level 10 of the badge. We will keep an eye out for any more confirmed venues and post them as we find them as well.

I'm not sure why...I did it with those 45 venues. Make sure they were all first time visits. How many do you lake?
