Mobile web c/i will let you get swarm badges but it does not add to the swarm count.

FYI.. I use (http://m.foursquare.com) instead of typing "mobile".. but just same because you'll be redirected to (http://foursquare.com/mobile/).. lolz..

Hello people!! How many check ins Can I do consecutive winning points or counting for badge? I Means, I always do three times, after that, the 4th check in coming without points.
And How many time I have to wait in to get points again since I did last check ? Thxss

It's 3 check ins in 15 minutes.
There's an hourly check in limit, but I don't know what it is.
And 30 check ins within a 24 hour limit.

If you're not getting points, it's because you've hit one of those limits.

Trizz, I think you have answered what I was looking for.

It has happened so many times to me, that I checked into a place more than 15 times on various days, still dont become a mayor

And one more thing, the badges just dont unlock at all....I follow the spots, the pages, checkin the required times but it just doesnt work :X

If you use foursquarefox in Firefox to check-in, you can change your address to venues far afield, even without changing it on the Foursquare World-Wide Web site.
Checking-in via foursquarefox counts toward mayorships, badges, and swarms.

Based on my experiences, first 3 checkins can do without gap ( one after another) then wait for 10 minutes do another checkin with 7 minutes gap for each checkin. U can do 30 checkins max in 24 hours. NB: for 7 minutes gap, must be in the same city. If different city same states, gap must be 30 minutes or more. Hope this wud help u get more points or badge.

From the sounds of it they sent that because they believe that you did something they did not approve of when checking in using foursquare for Android. Did you try and use a gps spoof that did not work correctly? They say in the letter pretty much taht if you use foursquare mobile which is diffrent then foursquare for Android that they do not count those checkins against anyone. So i would say in the future when you are jumping for badges to make sure you goto http://mobile.foursquare.com so you dont run into this issue again. Thanks for posting that though. That is the first time I have seen or heard of that happening.

Do you know if the foursquare mobile site really works towards getting badges? Even if you are checking into places that you arent near? I've tried to check into a few places and havent gotten any badges.

@jw2482 I have earned almost all my badges on the mobile site. You have to allow time for travel. You can't checkin in your home town and then check into a different state without allowing time for travel. You can only check in 3 times every 15 minutes and up to 30 times in a 24 hour period. If you follow those directions and make sure that every check in you do gives you points then you can earn badges. Just not mayorships.

ok, I'm following the instructions as described in the thread, and every time I try checking in at the mobile site, it states "this is your 1st check in here. I'm seeing no points, no badges, nothing. What am I doing wrong?
