The URL in the unlock instruction #1 is wrong . It should point to https://foursquare.com/mtv -
no 7-eleven unlock worldwide just anywhere in US only......just try @Beerknurd c/i and shout Sobe spring break ; the venue name must be 7-eleven or 7-11 otherwise you can't unlock the badge

the 7-eleven / 7-11 / 7 eleven that not only has staff name of "7-Eleven M." in the venue example this https://foursquare.com/v/7eleven/4c43c146f97fbe9a3f58ba30 can also unlock the badge in US by c/i with shout Sobe spring break

Guess Hawaii don't get any love for this badge. Checked in 5 different 7-11's with shout outs and still no badge.

Yep! Following them and still no badge ... Do you have to be at a 7-11 with that staff worker in it?

The unlock instructions state that the badge is specific to the United State. Therefore, it cannot be unlocked in Japan. I don't believe I've seen any unlocks at venues outside of the U.S., so the instructions appear to be accurate.
