    How to unlock:
    1. Check in to a venue 100 times
    2. One check in per day will count
    3. Home, Office, or School categories do not work

    Some people have checkeed in to their home or office the necessary times and have changed the category to something else, then checked in. We have heard this trick work many times for other badges

    Unlock Message:
    "That's over 100 days you've checked-in at the same place! You should have your photo hanging on the wall by now. Seriously, if they don't let you, just hang it up yourself."

    Alright, I've checked into my house for over 100 times (150 today actually)

    Although, I don't check in every day. The venue is currently a "Resturant" venue..so..what should I do?

    Once the category has been changed, you should just be able to checkin again and unlock it. Then change the category back when you are done

    Log on to your online Foursquare account. Find your home venue and depending on your user status just click the edit button and change it.

    clicking the EDIT button only lets me ADD new tags: cannot delete/change the CATEGORY... what should my "user status" be, to be able to change the category?

    Also, if you created the venue you have the ability to change the categories.

    Here's some info for you. I'm a Super User lvl 1 and I can edit Categories and delete or change addresses/locations of Venues.

    My home is categorized as a strip club, and I have well over 100 checkins with no badge. Any thoughts?

    Have you ever checked in to your house more than one time in a day? If so, those additional checkins in that day do not count towards the total 100.

    So for instance you check into your house twice a day, for the badge, you only have 50 checkins.

    Are there any tools out there that will tell you the number of days instead of the number of check-ins at a venue?

    This tool shows your # of visits but i'm not sure if it breaks it down to only 1 visit per day. It is definitely handy for counting # of visits when trying to get category specific badges though.

    I use that. It's very useful, but it counts every checkin not number of days.

    you can edit the venue category/address if you created the venue only.

    We should be able to unlock this thru the mobile site, right? I'm at 101 checkins at the gym. 80+ were with the app, the remaining with the mobile site. No badge for me, yet.
    Previous checkins do count, right?

    @iamc Previous checkins do count, The mobile site will unlock the badge (cause thats how i got mine), The one thing to remenber though is if you have ever checked into the venue more then once a day only 1 checkin a day counts for this badge. My total venue checkins when i got this badge at the venue i got it at were 130+ cause i had checked in more then once a day a few times.

    guys he didn't do it in less than 100 check-ins. The number of check-ins it states for him on that venue are in the last 60 days which is why he's the mayor. He had to have checked-in over 100 times to get that badge.
