    You don't have to send your checkin to twitter to get the badge. I do it all the time like that, including this badge.

    thanks for all answer , My 1st check in didn´t get the badge , later i erased all olds check in and check in again , and I got it ..... I posted on Twitter , maybe It´s not required twitter ..... but I got it , so strange

    I am following Sunday River, checked in at the venue indicated, got points but the badge didn't unlock. The badge now retired?
