On the 4sqr mobile site there is a spot where you can choose to checkin to an event. There is a drop down menu titled "Event" just select the current concert event in that box then checkin.

Unlock message:

@Ryan26razornail50 make sure you're checking into the event. When you're checking in via the mobile site, there's a spot where you can also choose to share on Facebook or twitter or shout, where you can also choose to check-in to an event. It's a drop down menu titled "Event" with the default selection "None."

when i did the check in i clicked on the drop down box & choosed the event but i didn't got the badge... any idea why?

Tomorrow night an event is showing at the garden!! Check the event drop down menu and get the badge I sign in at 8pm when the even starts. Make it epic swarm!

Wondering why the "event" button is not showing up for me in 4sq mobile.

Was trying to check in earlier (8.00++pm) to Jay-Z and Kanye West's concert at MSG but couldn't get the badge until 9.00pm. Which leads me to this question : Do we have to wait till the concert begins to the get the badge :-) ?

You have to wait until you can checkin to the "event". Once you can checkin to the event you should be able to get the badge.

I checked into the jay z kanye west concert and Madison square garden tonight and got no badge at all

JR1 i checked into MSG and then i checked into the Jay Z Kanye West concert and didn't get the badge, i even waited 30 min after the concert started and checked into the actual concert and no luck.

they dont even have the An Evening With Furthur concert listed on the mobile site, i'm on it right now and don't see it at all

I give up I must be blind or retarded because i do not see that anywhere. i typed in Furthur :Phil Lesh & Bob Weir, furthur, Phil Lesh & Bob Weir and Nothing comes up at all.And on the mobile site there is no event drop down box to look for or check into events. Anyway you could post a url for it?

Nevermind I found the event dropdown box and got the badge thanks.

In my event I have basketball game. Choosing that as event gave me historian badge. Well at least I got something. So need to wait for band or artist to play :)

Has anyone verified the unlock time (Eastern Standard Time) for this badge? From the posts above, it sounds like no matter what time the event starts, the back doesn't unlock until about 9:00pm?
