@CeeDotA yeah I just test this one last night and it took forever to get it! You only need 5 venues but there's only 6 that pop it (I added those to the instructions). 2 of those were on a list and not the tips so it took me some time!

Rumor has it that this badge might go active on the 17th of september. Which is their Move-In day.

Have not seen any unlocks yet but i just got this tweet from UCLA. @jrdraga Our foursquare badge just launched today! So this badge should be active today.

All the unlock instructions are there at the top of the page. There is an pic of the badge in the comments as well from a week ago when I found the badge image before it was released.

OK, this one seems to be strangely difficult. 15 check-ins over the last two days -- all of them listed by UCLA's 4sq account as well as other UCLA Bruins badge lists -- and nothing yet. Previous check-ins don't appear to be counting either.

Make sure you don't have one of the other college badges.

All clear on that end. I even un-followed all the other colleges to be sure. Going on 30 check-ins (previous and recent) now!

What the problem could be is that 4sqr has been having alot of issues for the past week. Hopefully they are trying to get all the bugs out their system but in the meantime it is making things go crazy. Just keep checking in and you will get the badge. Hopefully 4sqr gets their act together soon and all these issues go away.

Anyone any idea if this badge is retired? Clocked 20+ checkins at listed UCLA tips over 3 days but still no badge. Does it make any difference if I'm also following Indiana University but has not earned the Hoosiers badge nor make any checkins at UI?

Only 1 badge per 4square user ,except Harvard and Berkley University .

Does not matter who else you are following. Just keep checking in you will get the badge. The main issue seems to be that the venues on their list that unlock the badge keep changing and not all the venues taht they have listed count towards the badge. It has taken people over 40 checkins to unlock some of the clooege badges.
