I agree. This was one of the harder badges to get. It was about 15-20 checkins.

Yeah, I was having trouble yesterday when I was up there for work. It says 5 checkins on the guide, but it really is around 15-20 before you get it. Might want to change that on the guide.

Help how? The instructions have been updated and are very clear. I even gave a list of venues that work as well. All the information is above for you to unlock the badge.

Have you checked in to the venues listed above? Are you following Syracuse?

Just unlocked the badge but it took me 15 checkins.

Tip : Look at the location's tips section. If you see a tip left by Syracuse University, that venue is a SU recommended venue and you may proceed to check in there :-)

I have done 22 checkins today and no badge. They are speced properly. I also notice the last time I find this badge unlocked is November 4th.

i'm thinking that maybe it is unavailable also......i did every single one of rainwave's checkins plus jr's.....no badge.....oh well...:).
also looked it up on twitter and it says last unlock on the 5th of this month....

just keep trying.. i have the same issue with true tiger badge. but finally i got it unlocked it in 4th day check in there.. with ratio 10 check in per day..

I'am over 30 checkins, but still nothing...

I spoke with Syracuse's official twitter account. They said the badge should still be active. I stated I checked into just about every venue on their tips list and the badge did not unlock. They said they are looking into it and will get back to me. Maybe something happened to preven the badge from being unlocked, but it clearly should still be active. But I haven't seen any unlocks on twitter in the last couple weeks.

No. Tested with a blank account that has no college badges and it didn't unlock.

Just heard back from Syracuse. The badge is currently locked for special events only but they are working on opening it up again in the future. I have asked when the next special event is, and I'll keep you posted if I hear anything else. But for now, it doesn't look like it's unlockable. Move to retired.

Syracuse just said keep on eye on @SUCampus on twitter for special events. They weren't specific but I am following them now. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Per @SUCampus on twitter, the badge is back in action. Follow Syracuse and check-in to 1-2 mystery spots on campus. I'll let you know if I can get it to unlock.

Not sure. Syracuse claims it is. But I've tested it thoroughly and can't get it to unlock. They say there are 1-2 mystery locations around campus, and they should be spots that are popular and show a lot of school spirit. I'm lost and can't figure it out. Maybe some other people could test it?

From the accounts I have seen, that have unlocked the badge, each check in is spaced really far apart. I am following the example and only checking in once per hour.
