I'm doing it for my son, and it is taking me a little longer to get the badge for him. Probably previous check ins count.

Just went through and Compiled a list based on the places I found where people unlocked the badge and the places they checked in right before unlocking the badge. Still working on getting it down to an exact # of checkins to unlock the badge. The venue list is posted in the unlock instructions.

In my son's case, 10 different venues. no badge yet.

Tried 10 places - no unlock

Ended up with 8 checkins today and 6 pervious checkins when I got the badge. All the venues I used are in my venue list "LA Weekly" in the unlock instructions. Just have to keep checking in until you unlock it.
